HISTORY OF THE DAIMON BRAND

In 1901, Paul Schmidt developed a flat 4.5V battery with three side-by-side cells (3x 1.5V) under the Daimon brand. In 1902, the company began producing light bulbs. During World War II, Daimon largely produced for the Wehrmacht - about 60% of total production. They mainly produced special lamps for the army, for tanks, combat lights for the front line, clock movements for timed mines, ...

Flat-battery lanterns during World War II were an important tool for night map reading, colored lens signaling, and many other uses. Some lanterns were equipped with a light cover or colored lenses to hide the bright light they produced. Colored lenses were used to adjust the color of the light as well as to signal between individual soldiers.

Stick a label on a modern battery. Make sure the polarity of the battery is correct, you can check this according to the label on the contacts.

6. Step

Align the label and seal the inside of the label on the battery.

7. Step

Align the label and seal the outside of the label on the battery. Check everything again and press if necessary.
