A reproduction of wooden clothes pins marked with “Wäscherei Heeres” or “Wäscherei Waffen-SS”, as used in military laundries during World War II. The pins are made from durable hardwood and feature historically accurate stamped markings. Sold in pairs.
These pins were used in field or stationary Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS laundries for hanging washed uniforms and clothing. They could also be found in supply depots or base camps where soldiers maintained their gear and hygiene.
Even such small items were often marked to indicate military ownership and to help keep laundry organized.
Stamping items like clothes pins was a common military practice – everything from large crates to small personal gear could be marked this way. Laundry units were often mobile and essential to front-line logistics, and tools like these played a small but important role. Today, they make a subtle but highly authentic addition to any reenactment camp or display scene.
