Feldpost field mail packages were an indispensable link to civilian life and loved ones for soldiers on the front line. These replicas of period boxes represent the logistical system of the German field post, which had to process millions of shipments daily. In such flat boxes, soldiers most often received small items that were missing or scarce in army rations from quality tobacco and cigarette papers to razor blades or sewing kits for repairing uniforms.
The larger variant in A6 format made of brown cardboard is ideal for storing items such as combs, packs of spare buttons, or small chocolate bar.
The smaller white version, Feldpostpäckchen mit Brief, is unique for its multifunctional construction. It is a folding box whose inner surface, when unfolded, served directly as letter paper for a message from the family.
Both replicas feature precise period printing and are ready for immediate use in reenacting, as film props, or as an authentic accessory for presenting a soldier's everyday life.
