Reproductions of original German cigarette packs from the World War II era. Available in several variants such as Eckstein No. 5, Regie 4, and Typ 4 Pfennig, these designs were commonly seen among soldiers at the front, in the rear, or included in personal parcels. Each pack is carefully recreated with attention to detail, and the print is waterproof.
The packs are sold empty – without cigarettes, and are intended as authentic accessories for reenactment, film props, displays, or collections.
Cigarettes were one of the most common morale boosters for soldiers. They were issued regularly or sent from home in care packages. Soldiers carried them in uniform pockets or gear and often used them as barter – exchanging cigarettes for favors, food, or other goods.
Cigarettes could sometimes be more valuable than money, especially when pay was delayed. For example, a pack of Eckstein (12 pieces) cost around 3.33 RM in military settings. Cigarettes were also included in Frontpäckchen (frontline packages) along with chocolate, coffee, or tobacco.
These reproductions add a highly authentic touch to any period scene, diorama, or private collection.
