A reproduction of a condom wrapper used during World War II, based on original German packaging from the Odilei brand. These items were part of military medical prevention efforts, aiming to reduce the spread of sexually transmitted diseases, which posed a serious issue within armed forces. The wrappers are produced with waterproof print and available in several variants.
Condoms were typically issued to soldiers by military doctors, often directly in front of military-regulated brothels. They could also be obtained in camp canteens or medical stations, as part of personal hygiene supplies. Use was strongly recommended, and disposal was required immediately after use, according to military guidelines.
The label reads: “Only for the German Wehrmacht. Must be destroyed immediately after use.” — reflecting the strict medical regulations enforced by the army. Today, these reproductions serve as a rare and authentic collectible or display item with strong historical context.
