Reproduction of various types of German WWII field mail letters (Feldpostbrief), used by Wehrmacht soldiers to send correspondence home. These letters were designed specifically for use in the military postal system, often pre-printed with address fields and sections for censor approval.
Some variants also include pre-written text or propaganda slogans, which were typical of wartime correspondence. The letters were usually foldable and self-contained, meaning no separate envelope was needed – this made them efficient for wartime logistics.
Perfect for reenactment, historical displays, or completing a soldier’s field post documentation.
Envelopes with a stamp
If you choose to stamp envelopes, please write me in the note with which stamp (date) you want to stamp the envelope / envelopes.
A simple and fast way to get the mail from:
- If there is a blank date stamp or "feldpost" stamp on the envelope and the unit stamp is mail from the soldier to the home.
- If there is a date stamp with the name of the post office on the envelope or a blank date stamp + the city stamp, it is mail from the family towards the soldier.
(This is just a basic system for recognizing mail. Therefore, it should not be taken as a rule. For example: not all soldiers used unit stamps to write their front number on the envelope.)
