A reproduction of the full box of Rotbart Be-Be razor blades — one of the most well-known German blade brands from the interwar and wartime period. Both the outer box and individual paper blade wrappers are based on original designs from the 1930s–1940s.
Razor blades were a standard part of Wehrmacht soldier's personal hygiene kit, used with a classic metal safety razor. Regular shaving was required even in field conditions — for discipline, hygiene, and to ensure a proper seal on gas masks, which only worked on clean-shaven skin. Blades were issued in rear supply depots or sent in comfort parcels from home.
Rotbart was considered one of the top-quality brands of its time and was later acquired by Gillette. Full boxes like this one are now valued collector’s items. A perfect addition to reenactor hygiene kits, historical exhibits, or as a detail for period films.
