Reproduction of original WWII-era sausage and cold cut labels (Wurstetiketten) used for food packaging in both civilian markets and Wehrmacht supply chains. These paper bands were wrapped around sausages to identify types such as Schmierwurst (spreadable sausage), Blockwurst (boiled sausage), and Schinkenwurst (ham sausage).
The labels replicate historical producers such as Otto Seidel – Weissenfels a/M., a real German supplier of meat products at the time. All text and design elements are based on original wartime examples to ensure a high level of authenticity.
These kinds of labels were used not only for retail sales but also in the preparation and distribution of food rations for soldiers – in military kitchens, field depots, and as part of care packages sent to the front lines.
A useful detail for reenactment events, period kitchens, field storehouses, or museum displays focusing on wartime logistics and daily military life.
