Book matches

Set of three replica Jupiter book matchbooks, based on originals from the Second World War. This type of matchbook was a standard part of a German soldier’s personal kit—compact and easy to carry in a pocket or field pouch.

The set includes 3 matchbooks, each containing 20 matches. Visually accurate to wartime examples, with a simple design and the classic “Original-Jupiter-Zündhölzer” label.

These matches were often included in front-line supply parcels (Frontpäckung), intended not only for practical use but also as a morale booster. Alongside cigarettes, sweets, or letters from home, they were a small but meaningful part of a soldier’s daily life.

This set is perfect for reenactors, collectors, or as a prop for filming, photography, or display. Having three packs adds realism to expanded kit setups, where soldiers often carried more than one.
