A reproduction of a period-correct set of sewing threads marked 36/3 fach, with each card containing 20 meters of thread. The paper spools and font style are based on authentic packaging used in Germany during the 1930s and 1940s.
This type of thread was commonly found in the gear of military tailors, but also among the personal belongings of Wehrmacht soldiers. It was used for field repairs of uniforms, underwear, or equipment. Soldiers were expected to mend minor damage themselves, especially when cut off from regular supply lines.
The set includes black and white threads, the most commonly used colors for standard military garments. Ideal for reenactors, historical displays, period film props, or as a practical and authentic addition to a soldier’s field kit.
