Reproductions of medical bandage packaging from the Second World War, based on original wartime designs. Several versions are available, including Mullbinde, Brandbinde, and boxes marked Deutsches Rotes Kreuz – all typical components of WWII German military medical kits.
Each wrapper is designed to fit modern bandages measuring 5 m × 8 cm (eagle version) or 5 m × 10 cm (standard Mullbinde), allowing for an authentic-looking addition to field medical gear, infirmary setups, or personal first aid kits.
These bandages were most commonly used in aid stations and military hospitals, but were also part of a soldier’s individual equipment. Suitable for historical reenactment, museum displays, photography, or as a film prop.
A particularly interesting type is the Brandbinde – a burn bandage marked with specific instructions such as “Brandblasen nicht öffnen!” (Do not open burn blisters!) and “Nicht bei Phosphorbrandwunden!” (Not for use on phosphorus burns!). These historically accurate labels reflect wartime medical practices and add detail to any reconstruction.
