Reproduction of a classic WWII-style folding pocket knife, currently made in Germany. This knife type was a popular personal item among German soldiers – typically carried in a uniform pocket or breadbag as part of their daily kit.
The hardwood handle is oiled and waxed for durability and a comfortable grip in rough field conditions. The blade includes a special notch designed for wire splitting, making this knife particularly well-suited for Funkers – signal troops responsible for handling field communication cables and making fast technical fixes.
Though not officially issued by the Wehrmacht, such knives were widely used by soldiers for everyday needs – from food prep and minor repairs to hygiene and utility work.
