These faithful reproductions of the Kleiner Wehrmachtfahrschein represent an essential part of the personal documentation of any German soldier traveling by the Reich railways (Deutsche Reichsbahn). Whether traveling on leave (Urlaub), transferring to another garrison, or returning from a field hospital, soldiers were required to carry a valid ticket corresponding to the train type and distance. We offer three historically accurate variants distinguished by color coding.
The ticket with a red stripe was intended for regular passenger trains and semi-fast trains for shorter distances, usually up to 150 km. The version with a blue stripe was valid for express trains covering long distances across Europe.
The most versatile variant is the (white ticket) without a stripe, which was valid for all trains ("Gültig für alle Züge"), including the fastest and most expensive premium connections.
These forms are an ideal addition to pocket litter, inside a wallet, or tucked into a Soldbuch, adding an authentic historical dimension to your impression.
